The gap
You rang five cleaners. Two called back.
Melbourne has more than seventeen thousand residential cleaning businesses. Almost all of them are one person with a vacuum and a phone they can't answer while they're working.
So the market has plenty of cleaners and almost no coordination. The complaints are always the same four: nobody picked up, nobody came, nobody sent a replacement, and it was a different person every fortnight.
None of that is a cleaning problem. It's an admin problem — and it's the only thing we actually sell.

You tell us the suburb and the day. We find someone who has cleared the check and works your streets. From there, the arrangement is between you and them.

We match and introduce
We come back with a cleaner who has cleared all four documents and already works nearby. You get their name and their rate before anything is booked.
They clean. You pay them.
You set the schedule with them directly and pay them directly, at their rate. We invoice you A$25 for each clean — and nothing else.
What it costs
One number. Published here.
The cleaner sets their own hourly rate and keeps all of it. We never negotiate it, never take a cut of it, and never see the money.
Our whole business is the A$25. If that ever stops being worth it to you, you keep the cleaner and stop paying us — which is the arrangement we'd rather have than a contract.

Not your cleaner's employer
Every cleaner on our list runs their own business, sets their own rate, picks their own jobs and can send someone else. We don't roster them, don't supply their equipment and don't tell them how to work. That is what makes them genuinely independent rather than employees with a different label.
Not holding your money
Your payment goes straight to the person who did the work. Nothing sits in an account of ours, so there is no float, no payout delay and no chance of a platform failing with your money in it. We invoice our A$25 separately.
Not a franchise or a big brand
Proof Homes started in 2026 and is deliberately small. We would rather run one cluster of Melbourne suburbs properly than claim national coverage we cannot staff. If we don't have someone good near you, we will say so instead of sending anyone.

That's an unusual thing to put on the homepage. We put it here because you'd find out anyway, and because it's the reason the phone gets answered.
Proof Homes is Ivan Talosig. The cleaners are Australian, the work is in Melbourne, and the coordination — the calls, the checking, the chasing of expiry dates, the finding of cover when someone is sick — runs from the Philippines. Manila is two hours behind Melbourne, so Australian business hours are ordinary working hours here.
That is a real cost advantage and we'd rather spend it on answering the phone than on undercutting the person doing the cleaning. What it costs us is that nobody can drive over when something goes wrong — so if you want a firm with a van and a depot down the road, we are honestly not it.
